There was free coffee and tea and bottled water. The table and desk layout was good for work and the free WIFI was good. TV had a good selection of channels although it only had one English news channel which was CNN. My room was nicely decorated with a good sized walk in shower and comfortable beds. In the evening nice music from the reception can be heard in the room. It has an impressive atrium that looks nice but that makes it noisy and walking around the open corridor to my 3rd floor room I could hear what was happening on the ground floor. The first impression of the hotel is very good. On the drive to the hotel the driver never stopped talking and several times hinted that the shuttle was free but some customers tipped. If arriving at T2 go to Gate 4 and turn right to an open parking area (no signs). Be warned there are no signs and it is quite a long walk. If arriving at Terminal 1 go to Gate 4 and hotel reps will be standing there to arrange the bus. Holiday Inn Mexico Dali Aerporto is about 5k from Mexico City Airport and takes between 10 and 20 minutes to get to in the free Shuttle bus. Food in the restaurant was not even close to 5 Star quality! Would not recommend this hotel to elderly, disabled or anyone not prepared to hike with their luggage. Better off staying in terminal One hotels(Hilton and Marriott) if flying out of Terminal One. Oh and the "free shuttle" to the airport is only available at night otherwise you have to take the airport train which is free but the amount of walking from this hotel to Terminal One is very long and you are carrying your luggage. They gave me a business card with an e mail address and sent me over to a computer which there was no lighting so I could not see to send them an e mail!! Seriously this is an airport hotel without that service available 24/7 ? After several trips back an forth to the front desk, I gave up and went to the kiosk in the airport the next morning. and they would then somehow print it for me and I could pick it up in the morning. They told me their business office was closed and so I would have to e mail them my Airline information and confirmation No. The worst thing was I could not print my boarding pass at this hotel. My husband and I were put in a room with 2 Queen beds that were full size, not Queen. They could not give me one King bed as I had reserved because they said that did not fall into the category I booked in. I felt the room was very "sterile" looking. Not even a bottle of water in the room was free. % Star means excellent customer service and wonderful amenities as well as cleanliness and comfort.
