Many elements have their own animations - for example, the plane's wheels hide after takeoff. The lighting system and some of the effects and setting elements - such as water, vegetation, wild animals and birds - also make a good impression. The game world is quite detailed and both the bustling metropolises and the wilderness look as they should. Transport Fever 2 has a decent three-dimensional graphic design. There are no other competing companies controlled by artificial intelligence in the game. The campaign starts in 1850 during the American gold rush. We have the possibility to freely build our own company in free play mode, but the developers have also prepared three campaigns, in which we learn - and rewrite - the history of the world's transport. In Transport Fever 2 we can play only alone. The developers also took care to support mods, which allow players to customize many aspects of the gameplay to their liking.
The second part also adds traffic lights and one-way expressways.
What's interesting, we can stop the game at any time, load the game state into the editor and change the look of the map (for example, by adding more cities or factory centers) and then return to the game. Production of Urban Games team has also a map editor, thanks to which we can modify the shape of the world. We analyze numerous statistics and make decisions thanks to which we optimize the operation of the entire system - for example, we determine the route of the train tracks and decide on the routes of individual buses or optimize our infrastructure in such a way as to reduce sound and pollution emissions. Our job is to determine strategies, build the right facilities, as well as develop and modify the existing ones to best fit the ever-modern means of transportation. The game features logistical challenges based on real-life events, as well as over 200 vehicles from different eras - from draught horses to modern jet planes. In Transport Fever 2 our task is to develop the infrastructure and build a thriving system that includes various means of transport - trains, buses, trucks, ships and even planes. The role of publisher was shouldered by Good Shepherd Entertainment (responsible, among others, for the release of games of the Polish studio CreativeForge Games - Hard West and Phantom Doctrine). The Swiss studio Urban Games (known, among others, for the similar title Train Fever) is responsible for its creation. The production is a continuation of the game released on computers in 2016.
Transport Fever 2 is an economic strategy in which we deal with the creation of a diverse transport infrastructure.
